Links and temporary delivery

When you submit an Instagram link, our server uses it to retrieve the media needed for your request. It creates a temporary result manifest and may temporarily cache previews and prepared download files in private storage. Results have a 15-minute access lifetime; generated download links have a 30-minute access lifetime. These are access limits, not a promise that every stored object is physically erased at the expiry instant. Cleanup is performed separately.

Download links contain bearer authorization: anyone with an unexpired link may use it. Do not publish or share them. The public tool has no user accounts, saved-media library or user-facing download history.

Operational diagnostics and connection information

Operational logs may contain compact references to submitted posts or accounts. Invalid input may be recorded in truncated form. Do not submit sensitive information, passwords, session cookies or access tokens. Diagnostic retention is managed by the hosting operator and is separate from temporary download-link expiry.

Cloudflare provides hosting, delivery, rate limiting and temporary storage. Its infrastructure processes connection information, which may include IP address, browser/request headers and security events. We use operational information to diagnose errors, protect the service and maintain availability.

The local media inspector

The file inspector in the quality guide reads a file selected on your own device to display dimensions, aspect ratio, size and supported video duration. It does not upload the selected file or its metadata to DownSta. Clear the selection or leave the page to release the temporary browser reference.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits to public pages, referring sites, browser and device categories, approximate visitor regions and page-loading performance. This helps us understand discovery from search engines and AI services and improve the website.

We do not add submitted Instagram links, temporary download tokens, source media or files selected in the local inspector to analytics events. Page analytics is separate from operational request logs. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for provider information.

Cookies and advertising

Ad serving is currently disabled in the published site configuration. Public pages contain AdSense account-verification metadata and an ads.txt declaration; these are not the AdSense advertising loader. The published pages do not currently load Google ad-serving scripts. Hosting infrastructure may use security-related cookies.

If advertising is activated, this policy and any required consent controls must reflect the actual integration before ad requests begin. We do not send submitted Instagram links, source media or files selected in the inspector to advertising providers.

Contact and requests

If you contact the operator using the details on our contact page, the information you choose to send is processed to respond to your inquiry. There is no support form on this site. Do not include credentials or active download tokens. For a privacy, access or deletion inquiry, describe the relevant request and approximate time without including sensitive content.

Rights and media-removal concerns can be reported through our copyright page. This policy is updated when the service’s processing changes.
